Kiwix ist ein Offlinereader für Webinhalte. Die Software wurde speziell dafür entwickelt den Zugang zu Wikipedia ohne Internetverbindung zu ermöglichen, aber es kann grundsätzlich für alle HTML Inhalte verwendet werden. Kiwix unterstützt das ZIM format, ein hochgradig komprimiertes Format mit zusätzlichen Metadata.
