I just want to say thank you for this opportunity to be a part of Kiwix!

And What of Kiwix?

and what of Kiwix? Is this about the kiwi, the wiki, or the linux?

It's up to you to decide what it means ;) Kelson (talk) 14:25, 5 February 2014 (CET)

Adding new projects

Greetings dear Kiwix Team. I'm Joshua Salazar, and I lead the OfflinePedia project. Your software is the backbone of our solution, for re-purposing old TV screens and donating low-cost computers to rural zones in Ecuador. I'd like to know how shall I add this information inside your contents of this Wiki. He have our project information in this portal inside Meta Wiki: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedistas_de_Ecuador/OfflinePedia Also you added one of our videos to your YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQjg03IOito Thelichprince (talk) 02:33, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

Hi Joshua, welcome here. I'm not 100% to know which goal you follow, but I would recommend to created a dedicated page OfflinePedia... but this might be simply duplicating https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedistas_de_Ecuador/OfflinePedia ?! Not sure you want this? Kelson (talk) 09:41, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
Thank you Kelson! Yeah, it may be a good idea to create its own dedicated page. My objective is just to make it visible and share our activities with you. Without you OfflinePedia wouldn't even exist! I'll create it. By the way, I was going to create a tutorial for how to install and use the different software tools you provided, I'm starting one tutorial inside WikiBooks https://es.wikibooks.org/wiki/OfflinePedia , but I'd like to cover some things like using the CLI for using kiwix-tools and other things like that. I'm not aware if you guys have such tutorials, and I'd say it may save valuable time to new enthusiasts using your software for resurrecting old PCs and so on.
