Kiwixはインターネットがなくても様々な記事を楽しむことができます。Kiwixはデスクトップアプリケーションですが、キウィックスサーブと呼ばれるHTTPサーバー版も提供しています。しかし、Kiwixを使う前に、あなたが使っているパソコンのオペレーティングシステム用のKiwixをダウンロードする必要があります。Kiwixをインストールした後、Kiwixからあなたが使用したいコンテンツをKiwixライブラリーから選ぶことができます。
ウィンドウズ (マイクロソフト社)
Kiwix for Microsoft Windows is available in two formats:
- A portable version you can directly use after unzipping the file. This version may also be installed.
- A self-extracting installer you need to install before being able to use it.
ウィンドウズ用Kiwixは32ビット・Windows XP SP2以降対応でありますが、64ビットでも使えます。
Mac OSX (アップル社)
Mac OSX用KiwixはDMGファイルで提供しています。DMGイメージをマウントし、アプリケーションフォルダーにコピー・インストールするだけです。今現在、Mac OSX用ポータブル版(直接USBメモリーなどで利用)はございません。
アンドロイド
Kiwix for Android is a new version of Kiwix. It provides an easy way to enjoy Wikipedia and other ZIM files on all Android4+ devices. This app has a perfect Android look&feel and is extremely fast. Give it a try on Play Store or download directly the APK file.
リナックス (GNUライセンス)
Kiwix for GNU/Linux is a standalone application provided for the x86 architectures:
- 32 bits binaries
- 64 bits binaries (Download this if you don't know)
ダウンロードしたファイルを展開し「kiwix」プログラムを実行してください。32ビット版Kiwixを64ビットx86システムで動かそうとする場合、アークサーポートがインストールされていることを確認してください。
We also provide a precompiled version of kiwix-serve and other Kiwix console tools for ARM CPUs. You may download it here.
リナックスディストリビューションの中にはKiwixパッケージを提供している場合もあります。

Source Code
Kiwix can run on almost every operating system. But, we don't provide pre-compiled binaries for all of them. If you are interested in running Kiwix on an operating system for which we don't provide binaries, you may download Kiwix source code and compile Kiwix on your own.
