In 2005 I spent some time in Mali where I tried to develop Wikipedia. I started Wikipedias in [http://bm.wikipedia.org/ Bambara] and [http://ff.wikipedia.org/ Peul] by encouraging Malians to write in these languages (without much knowledge of those languages). | |||
