Thank you also for having complain about this stupid page main page protection, we have to deal with heavy vandalism and this is pretty difficult to find a perfect balance between usability and protection. Sidebar translation
Hi, The sidebar can not be translated in the same way like the other pages. Each sidebar menu entry which can be translated has the formt "target|label". To translate the label, you need to edit the article "Mediawiki:label", so in Russian "Mediawiki:label/ru", for example "MediaWiki:Development/ru". Kelson (talk) 13:28, 3 September 2013 (CEST)
